Mellerware's Birthday Competition T's and C's

  1. The competition runs from the 1st of June 2016 and closes on 31st of August 2016. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
  2. To enter, purchase any Mellerware product during the above mentioned period, register online and upload your receipt to the Creative Housewares website (www.creativehousewares.co.za).
  3. The product purchased along with the copy of the original receipt will need to be provided for verification.
  4. Photocopies or other reproductions of till slips will not be accepted. Each product purchased and registered online is single entry into the competition.
  5. You may enter this competition as many times as you like. By purchasing, registering and uploading your receipt, you are accepting all the rules of this competition.
  6. Daily prizes will be awarded each day during the duration of the competition. This winner will be randomly selected from the online registrations and the winner will receive a Mellerware product.
  7. The winners of the Toyota Aygo vehicles will be randomly selected from product registrations.
  8. This competition is open to all residents of South Africa, who are 18 years of age or over, except for the members, shareholders, directors, employees, partners, agents and consultants (and their respective life partners, business partners and immediate families) of:
    1. Creative Housewares
    2. The suppliers and advertising agencies of Creative Housewares Pty Ltd.
  9. All winners will be contacted via e-mail or telephonically once the relevant draws have been audited and confirmed.
  10. Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for cash or for any other goods or services.
  11. Daily prizes will be shipped to all winners at Creative Housewares Cost. All winners of vehicles will collect the vehicles at either the store where the product was purchased or at one of the three Creative Housewares offices. Any prizes not claimed and collected within 30 days of the public announcement of the winners, or notification to winners, may be forfeited at Creative Houseware’s discretion.
  12. Vehicles winners must allow Creative Housewares a reasonable period to arrange vehicle registration and licensing. Winners would therefore need to provide Creative Housewares with all necessary information and original documentation required for this purpose, including Identity Documentation, a valid driver’s license and any other documentation required from time to time by the traffic department. Should the winner not be registered driver the same would be applicable for the nominated driver.
  13. It is important to note that the vehicles are only insured until time of handover, the responsibility of insurance thereafter is for the winners account.
  14. Entrants consent to Creative Housewares using their name, likeness, image and/ or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/ or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion.
  15. The decisions of Creative Houseware’s and its judges are final and may not be challenged. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

  17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Creative Housewares, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, Creative Housewares reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  18. Creative Housewares collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant.
  19. Prize Vehicles are branded, and the expectation of Creative Housewares is that the vehicles remain this way for a period of no less than 3 months after the competition has concluded and the handover formalised. In this event Creative Housewares will arrange with the prize winners to have the branding removed after the stipulated time. We cannot be held liable for any damage to the paintwork whilst the branding is removed however we guarantee that every caution will be taken to avoid such damage.
